As SSC-IT we provide IT services to 9 out of the 15 departments of the Dutch government. We see a lot of potential for the use of AI and generative AI to solve some of the challenges the Dutch government is facing. But as a government, we also must ensure we tackle these challenges in a secure and sustainable way. This means we are constantly balancing the need to innovate, and the policies put in place to ensure we mantain trustworthiness. We will tell more about some of our experiments, like using RAG to answer questions from parliament, how we partner with Databricks, and what we think our future role is towards the responsible use of AI within the Dutch government.
