Modern cooling appliances are intelligent devices that produce enormous amounts of data from various sensors that enable many applications. The nature of the data presents the challenge of heterogeneity from the disparate nature of appliance models, varying in age, and functionality. We build a series of simply configurable pipelines that allow us to rapidly adapt to new signals or other changes in the data. The data enables application across various platforms and can be used by various stakeholders, from engineering to data science and customer service. Not least through Unity Catalog, our approach simplifies data management, enhancing usability in the cloud, and fostering data-driven decision-making. Finally, we share success stories that show how data insights have a direct impact, e.g. on customer satisfaction and customer support operations.
