Featured sessions
AskCAP: Coop Data Companion Powered by Databricks Genie and Microsoft Teams.
Business users once relied on point-and-click tools for self-service analytics. Now, they can simply type a question and press Enter. In this session, we’ll share our journey toward further data democratization through the integration of Databricks Genie with Microsoft Teams. You’ll discover how we transformed the way our organization interacts with data—making insights accessible, conversational, and contextual. We'll walk through the technical architecture that powers this solution and highlight the key success factors that drove adoption among analytically curious users within our organization, fostering a more data-driven culture.
Breaking the Data Ingestion Wall
OP Pohjola, Finland’s largest financial group, manages a highly regulated and complex data environment, with hundreds of applications and thousands of engineers. Today, its federated development model gives teams full lifecycle ownership, but data ingestion remains a critical bottleneck. Fragmented tools, strict access controls, unclear pipeline ownership, and reconciliation challenges slow delivery, raise costs, and complicate compliance. To overcome this, OP is deploying Lakeflow Connect. The solution automates ingestion, streamlines stakeholder interactions, consolidates tooling, and enables secure federated access—cutting setup time from months to days while improving reliability and compliance. The long-term vision: a unified data lake as the organization’s master system, powering analytics and operations, reducing costs, and making integration seamless.
Building a Boardroom-Ready AI Enterprise
Reporting no longer needs to stop at dashboards. In this session, we show how enterprises can move from traditional BI to real-time, AI-powered decisioning using Databricks AI/BI Genie and Aladdin — Diggibyte’s Databricks Brickbuilder Agentic AI Accelerator.
Leaders can ask questions in natural language, get instant insights, and trigger automated actions across the business.
We’ll walk through the journey from dashboards to conversational analytics and agent-driven automation, demonstrating how Genie delivers governed insights and how Aladdin converts those insights into recommended actions and workflows. Real customer examples will highlight faster decision cycles, higher accuracy, and stronger operational governance.
You’ll leave with practical learnings we had and proven best practices to modernize reporting, accelerate decision velocity, and build a scalable, AI-driven enterprise—starting small, proving value fast, and automating responsibly.
Building a Lakehouse supporting DSV’s consolidation Journey
DSV has through acquisitions grown to the world's biggest freight forwarder. As fast consolidation and transparency are key factors for a successful integration of companies, DSV has build an Analytical Data Platform that eases standardization and harmonization of data. Originally rooted in traditional data warehousing, with scalability and efficiency as main drivers, we have been emerging into a Lakehouse driven by mesh principles for broader and more flexible data usage across the organisation. The platform has also been an enabler for ETA predictions for Linehaul Routes by analyzing real time GPS Data and improving Shipment Event Data Quality in Real-Time by combining Transport Management System Data and Carrier API data.
We will in the presentation focus on how we have aimed at achieving scalability and efficiency in a centrally managed setup, how Databricks is an enabler for this, and what benefits this given us when integrating new companies. We will also shortly outline some of our near real time solutions and the value they have provided.
Building Production-Ready AI and Multi-Agent Systems With Agent Bricks
More than 80% of AI projects fail. The reason? Customers are not ready to put AI in production in areas where the Agent can cause reputational or financial harm. Introducing Agent Bricks, a new approach to deploying production-ready AI Agents. Agent Bricks uses novel research techniques to automatically generate domain-specific synthetic data and task-aware benchmarks. Based on these benchmarks, it automatically optimizes for cost and quality, saving enterprises from the tedious trial-and-error of current approaches. Now, teams can achieve production-level accuracy and cost efficiency right from the start.
This session will show you how to build and scale real-world AI systems using Agent Bricks. We’ll cover how to design multi-agent systems that combine retrieval, reasoning, and generation to answer complex questions grounded in your enterprise data. Along the way, you’ll see how to track experiments, fine-tune performance, and build workflows that are reliable, governed, and built for scale.
Building Production-Ready GenAI for Workplace Inclusion
As the dust begins to settle around the generative AI hype, real-world applications are finally taking shape, yet many organizations still struggle to turn promising MVPs into solutions that deliver measurable business value. Vy, Norway’s state-owned transportation company, faced this challenge. Working in Databricks, the team rapidly transformed their AI agent from a proof-of-concept into a true proof-of-value. By leveraging MLflow on Databricks, they built a production-ready generative AI system that outperformed the original MVP in both controlled testing and real-world usage. It also introduced key features such as automated evaluation, scalable deployment, traceable and auditable generations, and measured support for more than 40 languages. Join us to hear how the team achieved this acceleration from prototype to production, and learn their insights on how Databricks can be used to deliver reliable, scalable, and value-driving generative AI products.

Data Product Rooms: A Config-Driven Blueprint for Isolation, Governance, and Developer Experience
As our data platform scaled, teams increasingly faced challenges with shared workspaces, configuration drift, manual setup steps, unclear ownership boundaries, and inconsistent developer experiences. To address these issues, we developed Data Product Rooms—a config-driven, versioned, and modular blueprint for creating isolated, governed, and reproducible environments on our Databricks-based platform.
This session introduces Data Product Rooms as a scalable design pattern that abstracts platform complexity while strengthening governance and improving delivery speed. We will walk through the core architectural layers—identity, compute, access, security, DevOps integration, and governance—and show how these come together in a consistent Infrastructure-as-Code model. Attendees will learn how Data Product Rooms create predictable environment structures, reduce operational overhead, enhance cost transparency, and enable teams to onboard and deliver faster. We will also outline the current status of the initiative and how this blueprint will support a growing portfolio of data products across the organization.

Ensuring product availability with Databricks
Product availability is about ensuring that products are easy to search for, find, choose and buy. They are available when and where people want them, however way they choose to shop. And by meeting their expectations of a seamless shopping experience, customers are more likely to buy products and become loyal customers. Thus, availability is a set of crucial KPIs for IKEA and all the contributors upstream and downstream in our value chain strive to maximise it. These KPIs have existed for many years and have only improved further with the expansion of IKEA across the globe. Migrating from on premises systems to Databricks has enabled this expansion. While enabling us to stay true to our commitment of availability, sustainability and affordability, the move allows us to have faster time to insights and value, and a more robust system which ultimately increases customer satisfaction.
